What is Food & Drink Expo?
The UK's foremost B2B festival of food and drink will be created by Food & Drink Expo 2008 and its sister trade shows under the umbrella event Food & Drink World 2008.
Providing a stimulating environment in which to do business, Food & Drink World 2008 will be the largest and most influential gathering of suppliers and buyers in the food and drink market.
Building on the success of the 2006 event some 80,000 visits (a rise of 12.5% on 2006) are expected when the doors open at the Birmingham NEC 6-9 April 2008.
Food & Drink Expo 2008 is the UK's leading food and drink trade show attracting more UK visitors than any other national exhibition. The high quality audience from retail, food-service and the manufacturing sectors adds up to: 25,789 visitors* and more than 600 exhibitors from 40 countries. On show will be the leading food and drink companies promoting everything from bakery products to ethnic foods and frozen/chilled foods to soft and alcoholic drinks.
Food and Drink World 2008 adds up to more than 1,300 exhibitors, 19 innovative features, 8 inter-connecting halls and 5 leading trade shows - Food & Drink Expo, Foodex Meatex, Convenience Retailing Show, Baking Industry Exhibition and International Forecourt and Fuel Equipment Show (IFFE).
Food and Drink Expo will be held at the NEC in Birmingham.
