David, a graduate of Reaseheath Agricultural College in Nantwich has over 25 years experience in the UK diary industry with a heavy emphasis on manufacturing management. This commenced during his student days in the 1980’s, where he was involved in project work on Lymeswold cheese. David’s career also took him to creameries at Longdridge, Ellesmere, Maelor, Haverfordwest and South Caernarfon, where he honed his skills in large-scale cheesemaking.
Over the past 10 years David has worked with the majority of the farmhouse Cheesemakers across Wales helping them to develop their approach to marketing and product development. Consequently he has an intimate knowledge of most of the Welsh cheeses.
David is an accomplished speaker and presenter and has delivered numerous tutored cheese ‘masterclasses’ at trade and consumer events across the UK, including regular appearances at the British Cheese Festival.
