Since the early 90’s Moira has worked as a nutritionist in health promotion, public relations and the retail industry, joining Waitrose 9 years ago. She has chaired and contributed to working groups on topics such as saturated fats, portion size and sustainability through the IGD and sits on the editorial board of the British Nutrition Foundation.

Moira is motivated by a desire to improve the nutritional quality of our food believing that small changes can make a significant difference. Her work centres around developing and implementing policy to drive healthier product formulation and raising consumer awareness about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle through a variety of communication channels. In her free time she enjoys feeding friends and family, exploring new and traditional cuisines, growing fruits and vegetables and keeping bees.
