The Great British Bounce Back The food industry is one of the biggest manufacturing sectors in the UK and will surely be leading the way in helping to bring the UK out of recession.  Foodex worked in conjunction with Food Manufacturer magazine to find a Champion to showcase best practice across the industry in recognition of those going the 'extra mile'.

Any company involved in UK food manufacturing, processing and logistics, whether a primary producer, processor, supplier or retailer, could submit an entry to win this accolade.

And the winner was...

The Fabulous Bakin' Boys
"Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Last year we launched the world's first 1 portion of fruit bakery snack, this year we launched the first ever range of individually wrapped mini cupcakes and muffins after a £3M investment in a fully automated packing line."
